those were the days..
Virtual Coast Air was the first virtual airline specifically created for
operations within Norway. Assignments are domestic flights in Norway as
well as international flights using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and
Flight Simulator X. Virtual Coast Air started it's operations in June 1998.
With the VAFS concept
VCA flights are required to be flown online. If you would like to add
more realism into the flights we recommend online flying using
SquawkBox or FSInn. VCA is a VATSIM affiliate VA, and we highly
recommend using VATSIM when flying online, you will often
find controllers online.
In 2006 our VA went down and has been on standby since then. During this
period we kept our domain, and now its time to get going again! By joining the Virtual
Airlines Financial Systems (VAFS) many administrative tasks are automated,
thus enhancing our ability to improve our services.
